Elvis & Kresse are a London based company who build accessories from decommissioned fire hoses. These accessories are beautifully designed to outlast seasons and are built to last – after all, the material was made to survive blazing fires! It’s not just fire hoses that Elvis & Kresse save from the scrapheap either. Materials such as parachute silk, waste leather, coffee and tea sacks and shoe boxes are upcycled for different elements of the business, including packaging, mailing pouches and brochures.
So far, Elvis & Kresse have rescued over 165 tonnes of material that would have been wasting away in a landfill. As if they weren’t already amazing, 50% of their profits go to projects and charities – for example, 50% of the fire hose range are donated to the Fire Fighter's Charity.
Elvis & Kresse also offer to repair any of their products for free, regardless of warranty.
This phone case is made from decommissioned fire hose and lined with reclaimed parachute silk. After a long life of fighting fires for over 25 years, it’s happy to retire as a tough, water-resistant case to protect your phone. Colors will vary as no two fire hoses are the same. The case arrives in reclaimed packaging using old tea sacks and end-of-the-line labels.
