In 1886, a Londoner called John Haws designed and patented a perfectly-balanced watering can that was lightweight and easy to use. More than 130 years later, Haws watering cans are a staple in gardens all over the world. Their unique design remains relatively unchanged since 1886 and all of their products are hand crafted to perfection by expert craftspeople in Britain.
This traditional watering can is handcrafted out of heavy gauge steel. It’s dipped in galvanised zinc for rust prevention and durability and powder-coated for a smooth finish. This can has a longer spout which allows for constant water pressure, and the removable brass rose gives gardeners the option to use it for sprinkling or a constant stream. Even when full, the watering can is easy to maneuver around the garden, thanks to its two handles and domed lid which prevents water from spilling out.
