There’s something undeniably exciting and reinvigorating in the changing of seasons; warmth still hangs in the air but a new crispness creeps in signaling fresh direction. Time for a wardrobe shift – not quite ready to ditch easy breezy summer clothes for full on coat, gloves and scarf combo? A good time, then, to introduce a new BuyMeOnce discovery and our September spotlight brand, Beaumont Organic.
Beaumont Organic offers conscious, luxury clothing with an understated, modern aesthetic. Hannah Beaumont-Laurencia founded the brand with the mission to create high-functioning, transitional fashion with a contemporary vibe while working to combat the industry-wide wastage epidemic. There is much to be proud of in a Beaumont Organic garment. You’ll find only high quality, responsibly sourced and produced eco fabrics including GOTS-certified organic cotton amongst other sustainable stalwarts like bamboo, linen and wool. We also love that the brand works with ‘end of rolls’ fabric. They create limited edition pieces from cloth which would otherwise be unused, wasted and destined for landfill.
Aside from the beautiful fabrics they use, we applaud Beaumont Organic’s clever design approach. Many items are reversible, versatile and wearable year-round; all of which brings down the cost per wear and gives the garments go-to status. These pieces will work hard for you; they layer beautifully together, making them great for both casual and workwear wardrobing. Finally, each item is fully traceable and made sustainably in the UK or Europe.
The Beaumont Organic look is one of pared down, effortless cool with a touch of minimal elegance. The beauty of these clothes is in the detail, the construction and of course, the fabric. They release only two womenswear collections a year, focusing on elevated essentials to be worn and loved no matter what the season.
Look out for our hero pieces like textured chunky knits in longer lengths, soft, slouchy street-ready jumpsuits with the comfort of PJs, jersey pencil skirts equal parts flattering and cozy in their high-waisted glory and finally, oversized shirting with endless styling potential.
The palette is grounded in earthy, muted tones with bursts of vibrant color making it easy to work the pieces into an existing wardrobe.
Beaumont organic have created a useful symbol key showcasing the sustainability credentials of each garment they produce. From provenance to production, customers are given as much info as possible to support their purchase decision-making. We applaud this transparent, customer and environmentally-centric way of working.
