Mini Maglite Pro AA LED by Maglite
The Buy Me Once Verdict

Built in Maglite's only factory, in Southern California, from machined aluminum. You turn the head to switch it on, so there is no clicky switch to wear out, which is the part Streamlight only covers for two years. Spot to flood focus, 332 lumens, and a shape that has been sitting in American glove boxes since the 1980s.

The weakest link it solves: Switch failure, designed out with a twist head.
